Candelabra Making Class

Come on baby light my (candlelit) fire! This two day ceramic handbuilding workshop invites students all skill levels to create your very own completely unique candelabra/candle holders! During class, your instructor, Damaris Swass, will provide demonstrations on techniques such as such coil building, slipping/scoring, and pinching techniques. While students will be making a functional form there are endless opportunities for sculptural embellishment and for creativity to shine with the techniques shown.

Please note:

• All work must be completed or ready to go into the final glaze kiln after the first class as the second class will focus on glazing.

• The student firing fee is $0.06 per cubic inch which covers the cost of bisque and glaze firing.

• We do not provide makeup classes unless discussed prior to the start of class - more info and our refund policy are here if needed.

*Courses are subject to cancellation if there aren’t enough sign ups. This is a rare occurrence and in this case, students would be refunded the course fee.

*Centerpoint classes are for students ages 18 and older.
